The I-shape paver takes its name from its plan profile — wide at both ends and narrowed through the middle, like the letter I. Laid in rows, the flared end of each block seats into the waisted section of the blocks beside it, so every unit is held on multiple faces. That geometry is what stops individual blocks from riding up or drifting sideways as traffic passes over them.

What sets this block apart is the mix. At 3000 to 4000 PSI it is cast denser than standard 2500 PSI paving, and that density shows up over time rather than on day one: less surface dusting, fewer chipped corners, and better resistance to the constant abrasion of tyres turning on the same spot. On a driveway where cars pivot in the same place every day, that is where cheaper blocks wear through first.

At 60mm this is a light-to-medium traffic block — cars, vans, foot traffic, parking bays, footpaths and internal society roads. The higher strength means it lasts longer in that role, not that it moves into a heavier one. For loaded trucks, container movement or industrial yards, an 80mm block is the correct specification and we will tell you so before quoting.

Grey is the standard and most economical option. Red and yellow are used for parking bay demarcation, borders and patterned layouts.
